Gloriosa suberba is great vine, with stunning blooms. Looks very exotic and can bloom for long time if planted in full sun.climbing plant with brilliant wavy-edged yellow and red flowers.its shiny bright green leaves are alternately arranged, stalkless, and usually have short tendrils (1-2 cm long) at their tips Chemical research showed that all part of this plant, both above and below ground, are extremely poisonous and ingestion could be fatal. H: 4 m, full sun, likes moist soil Gloriosa are supposed to be quite easy to grow from seed, a 50/50 mix of peat and compost is recommended for best results. Soak seeds for 24 hours prior to sowing and place in a warm spot Ø
