Description Medium sized palm with bright red stalks, unique. Great house or patio plant.One of the most beautiful and striking clumping palm that's admired by many. The small seeds germinate rapidly and the subsequent seedlings show color from quite a young age. hardy, surviving only brief temperature drops into the 40's. Ideal year-round temperatures range from 75-85F. Soak the seeds for 1-2 days, preferably in warm water or scarify them to speed germination. Then, scatter or plant them with their top partially exposed above the soil, into your garden bed or in a container filled with humus-enriched potting medium. Site them at a sunny spot. With good heat and sunshine, plus regular watering, seeds should germinate successfully.
