Best picked on the small side. The skin can get thick on larger fruits but the flavor is still rich & wonderful. 70 days to maturity Start indoors 8-12 weeks prior to the last frost of spring. Transplant outside after the soil has warmed. Space plants 18-24 inches apart in raised beds or double rows 2-3 feet apart. Plants prefer full sun and fertile soil with lots of organic matter.
