This compact variety is ideal for a sheltered site in the garden and can also be grown at home. The attractive red trumpet shaped flowers in the summer produces edible fruit in the autumn. For faster germination, soak the seeds in slightly hot water for 24-48 hours, followed by one month cold stratification before sowing, in sterile gardening soil. Keep damp soil, not soaking wet.
